can't write, but doing it anyway

Today I learned that the EI grapevine is alive and well. I sent an email mentioning another EI's trip to a rehab facility (aka nursing home), and today I got a phone call asking the name of the place. So, hi everybody!

In other news, it snowed this morning. It never amounts to much when it does, and it usually melts by 10 am. This time it kept snowing until probably 11 even as it stopped sticking. The snow weighed down the bushes so much that when we went for a walk, the trail got really narrow in spots where branches you never noticed before sagged.

I can't really write right now, but it was nice to come and visit, even if I'm not {insert name of famous writer I can't think of}.
