airline usefulness and stupid stuff
Today I learned that United Airlines takes sick kids to the North Pole by taking them to a dressed up part of the concourse via the runway, so airlines are actually good for something besides in general eventually getting you to where you're going after charging you to walk on their carpets and breathe their air.
Other than that, I learned that the TV Highlander had managed to stay out of trouble for 12 years before.... Never mind.

Thanks for you kind words about the Fantasy Flights - the employees of United have been hosting these flights for over 18 years in numerous locations. UAL employees feel it is important to be a part of the community we live and work in and Fantasy Flights are a great way to say thanks for supporting your local UAL employees. United supports the Fantasy Flights, but the local employees are the ones who make it all happen!
OMG, they actually have PR people tracking UAL mention on blogs. LOL. Now if they could just pay as much attention to the rock hard seats, bad air, filthy carpets, awful food and terrible service that their customers have to endure.
