itchy, smart, sugary, hidey, and useless

Today I learned that:

• Horses can get scabies and then pass it on to their riders.
• Some dogs have an instinct for calculus, i.e., figuring out how far to run along the shore before jumping in the water after a ball.
• Eating tons of sugar won't give you diabetes. It will make you fat, which will give you diabetes.
• Digital camouflage is pretty neat looking.
• Apparently 60 hours is not enough time to figure out how to pee upside down.
