alert the media

I occasionally read the local paper.

It is not a well-known paper, and I have heard people make fun of it.

Today I read a 30-paragraph article made entirely of single-sentence paragraphs.

I think that if local kids are given homework requiring them to read the newspaper, they should read a different one.

How is it that single-sentence paragraphs, which are strung together with interesting clauses, are objectionable?

Surely this is the height of journalistic awesomeness.

I only wish that I could manage such great paragraphitizing, which would be so, um, awesome.

Now I will have to read our paper more carefully.
